Terms and Conditions

1. What the Service is

productlink.in lets creators publish a single "link-in-bio" page at a subdomain (e.g. yourname.productlink.in) or custom domain, listing product links (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and others) along with images, banners, and categories. Creators can also connect an Instagram Business account to send automated replies to comments and messages, sell products through a built-in shop (on plans that include it), and use an optional AI assistant. The Service is available on the web and as a mobile app.

We provide the technology only. Unless we've agreed otherwise in writing, we don't manufacture, own, sell, or fulfil the products a creator lists, and we're not a party to a purchase made through a creator's shop or through a third-party marketplace link.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

We authenticate accounts using a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email address — there are no passwords to manage. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, and for all activity carried out under your account. You must provide accurate information and an email address you are authorized to use, and you must not impersonate another person or business. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Plans and billing

The Service is offered on Basic (free), Creator, Pro, and Business plans. Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) and processed by Razorpay. When you subscribe, you authorize recurring monthly charges to the UPI AutoPay or card mandate you approve at checkout, and your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Plan prices are subject to applicable taxes, including GST where it applies, and we issue an invoice for each payment.

You can change plans or cancel from the Billing page at any time. Switching to another paid plan starts the new plan immediately and stops billing on the previous one. Cancelling stops future charges and moves your account to the Basic plan, and features that need a paid plan stop working. If a recurring payment fails or your mandate is cancelled, we may restrict paid features and move your account to Basic. Except where required by law, fees already paid for a billing period are non-refundable, including if you cancel partway through one.

We may change subscription prices from time to time. For a material change to a recurring charge, we'll give you notice before the revised price applies to your next billing cycle.

4. Subdomains and custom domains

Every account gets a free yourname.productlink.in subdomain; availability of a specific name isn't guaranteed, and we may reclaim or change one that infringes someone's rights, is misleading, or violates these Terms. On plans that support it, you can connect a custom domain you already own — you're responsible for that domain's registration, renewal, and DNS configuration.

5. Third-party links, marketplaces, and affiliate links

productlink.in may link to Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other third-party sites. We don't control and don't guarantee their availability, pricing, inventory, quality, delivery, or accuracy — a purchase made through one of these links is governed by that third party's own terms and policies, not ours. Some links may be affiliate links that pay a commission or referral fee to the creator, us, or both; where required, creators must clearly disclose material commercial relationships in line with applicable advertising rules.

6. Creator advertising and content standards

As a creator publishing links, products, or reviews, you must not:

• make false, misleading, or unsupported claims about a product;
• conceal a material commercial relationship (e.g. an affiliate link or sponsorship);
• fabricate reviews or testimonials, or falsely claim to have personally used a product;
• make unlawful medical, health, financial, or investment claims; or
• impersonate a brand or person, or violate a third-party platform's policies.

You're responsible for reviewing your own claims before publishing them. We may request a correction, ask you to remove content, or suspend content or an account where reasonably necessary.

7. Instagram and other integrations

If you connect an Instagram Business or Creator account, you authorize productlink.in to read comments and messages on that account and to send replies on your behalf, following the rules you set. You must comply with Meta's and Instagram's terms and policies, and you are responsible for the content of the replies you configure and for having the right to message the people you reply to. productlink.in is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or any other third party we integrate with. A provider may change its API, revoke permissions, or discontinue functionality at any time, so we cannot guarantee that every reply is delivered or that an integration keeps working. You can disconnect at any time from the dashboard; disconnecting stops future access but doesn't necessarily delete information we've already lawfully processed or retained.

8. AI-generated replies

Some plans include an optional AI assistant that can answer messages sent to your Instagram account and questions on your storefront, using the products and links you have listed. It is off by default for Instagram messages, and you can switch it off at any time. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent, and you are responsible for AI-generated replies sent through your account as if you had written them yourself. The assistant is designed to pass conversations about orders, refunds, complaints, and business enquiries to you, but we do not guarantee it will recognize every case, and it is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. We may limit AI usage per plan. To generate replies, message text and your product and link details are processed by third-party AI providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Shop, payments, and shipping

On plans that include the shop, you list and sell products directly to your customers. Your customers' payments are processed by Razorpay through your own Razorpay account, and shipments can be booked through your own Shiprocket account. You are the seller: you are responsible for your products, prices, taxes, invoicing, delivery, returns, refunds, and for complying with consumer-protection and e-commerce laws that apply to your sales. You must not sell counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or otherwise restricted or prohibited products (e.g. weapons, unlawful adult content, illegal drugs, or products requiring a licence you don't hold) through the Service. productlink.in provides the software only, is not a party to any sale, and does not hold or take a commission on your sales proceeds.

10. Restricted and prohibited products

You must not use the Service to sell or list any of the following, or anything else prohibited by applicable law or by a payment or shipping provider we integrate with:

• counterfeit or stolen goods;
• illegal drugs, or prescription medicines without appropriate authorization;
• tobacco or nicotine products, or weapons, where prohibited;
• gambling products or services where prohibited;
• fraudulent investment schemes, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or unlawful financial products;
• illegal adult services or content;
• malware or hacking services;
• products requiring a licence you don't hold; or
• products making prohibited medical claims.

We may add, remove, or modify this list at any time. Payment providers, shipping providers, and third-party platforms we integrate with may impose additional restrictions of their own.

11. Reviews and customer content

If your storefront or Service features allow customer reviews or testimonials, you must not fabricate, purchase, or manipulate reviews, falsely present a testimonial as independent, or conceal a material incentive given in exchange for one. You must have the rights or permissions needed to publish any customer-generated content, including photos, that you choose to display.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• violate applicable law or infringe someone's intellectual-property rights;
• sell counterfeit or stolen products, or products you're not legally authorized to sell;
• distribute malware, run phishing schemes, or send deceptive redirects;
• impersonate a person or organization, or misrepresent an endorsement;
• manipulate affiliate tracking, or generate fraudulent clicks, orders, or engagement;
• send spam, harass others, or make threats;
• promote illegal gambling, unlawful financial schemes, or prohibited products;
• unlawfully collect personal data, or scrape or systematically extract data without authorization;
• circumvent authentication, plan limits, or access controls, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what the law permits; or
• interfere with the Service, introduce malicious code, or use another person's account without authorization.

We may investigate, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section, and reverse commissions or hold disputed amounts where lawfully permitted.

13. Fraud and affiliate abuse

You must not manipulate traffic, clicks, conversions, orders, commissions, analytics, or engagement metrics on the Service, including through:

• bots, click farms, or fake clicks;
• self-referrals or fraudulent purchases;
• cookie or attribution manipulation;
• automated traffic designed to generate commissions;
• false orders, chargeback abuse, or coupon abuse;
• fake or duplicate accounts created to circumvent limits; or
• other artificially generated engagement or fraudulent activity.

Where reasonably necessary, we may investigate, suspend accounts, hold disputed amounts where lawfully permitted, reverse commissions, restrict functionality, terminate accounts, or cooperate with relevant authorities.

14. Your content

You retain ownership of the links, images, bio text, and other content you upload ("Creator Content"). By uploading it, you grant productlink.in a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate your storefront, provide analytics, and comply with our legal obligations. We won't use your name, logo, or Creator Content for our own marketing or case studies without asking you first. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including affiliate links, product images, and any third-party materials.

15. Intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, email [email protected] with the right you believe is infringed, the specific content involved, your contact details, and evidence supporting your claim. We may remove, restrict, or disable access to content in response to a valid complaint.

16. Cookies and analytics

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and to measure link and storefront performance. Analytics we show you (clicks, views, conversions, and similar metrics) may differ from a third party's own reporting and are estimates, not guarantees of traffic, revenue, or results. 17. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, subject to any outstanding obligations (like unpaid fees). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that we reasonably suspect of fraud or security risk, or where required by law, with notice where practical — we may act immediately where waiting would create a legal, security, or safety risk. On termination, your storefront stops resolving and Creator Content is deleted according to the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

18. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind except those that can't lawfully be excluded. We don't warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that third-party services or AI output will be accurate or complete. productlink.in is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, transactions between you and your audience, or between you and any third-party marketplace.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, productlink.in's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. This limit doesn't apply to liabilities that can't lawfully be limited or excluded, such as those arising from fraud or wilful misconduct.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold productlink.in harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your Creator Content, your products or services, your transactions, or your breach of these Terms or of a third party's rights, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.

20. Force majeure

We're not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including outages, internet or cloud provider failures, cyber incidents not caused by our own breach, natural disasters, or failures of a third-party platform or payment system.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. For a material change, we'll provide notice — for example by email or an in-product notice — before or as the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

22. Assignment

You may not transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our relevant assets, and we may use affiliates or subcontractors to help operate the Service.

23. Governing law and grievances

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
